After a run through of Jarvis Cocker’s solo album, this has been a Blues Fest Friday. I suppose that is a good way to finish off the week as I wrote two different blues reviews this week: Otis Rush and “Barrelhouse” Buck McFarland. In addition to writing those reviews, I have been trying to map out the rest of my BMA coverage. The Blues Music Awards will be handed out May 10 in Memphis, TN.
