No surprise to find R.E.M., Otis Rush and Albert King, or The Stones on today’s playlist. The Otis Rush/Albert King CD arrived in the mail today. Saleski and I got into a discussion about The Rolling Stones in yesterday’s LTAMi, and I just wrote about the upcoming R.E.M. album. No coincidences there.
“Boom Boom” got stuck in my head and before I knew it I had listened to a few songs from the marvelous John Lee Hooker box set.
