Let’s Talk About My iPod: March 29, 2007

We began our day with some Robert Randolph. I don’t know why I still have the Nirvana thing going, but we managed to work in a little of that and some Pearl Jam. Later in the day, the Charlie Musselwhite reminded me of the upcoming Watermelon Slim record. I am afraid some of you are not taking me seriously about that one, and doggone it you’re going to be sorry when you miss out on it.
Last night, I got home from work and started working on an article for BC that I should have finished but didn’t. You’ll be seeing it today. While I was writing it, I was in the mood to listen The Byrds. Here’s the complete rundown…

dang, that is a whole lotta Byrds!
I just got on a roll. I was writing, and The Byrds seemed to fit well with the mood to write. It was great.
RR is going to be playing at the Hollywood Bowl with BB King at the end of summer. Will be getting my tickets after we figure out our taxes.
El B, I saw where RR was going to be on that BB King bluesfest tour. That should be a stunning show. I wanted to go see him when he played Nashville, but the timing was bad.
I have his Wetlands live album and it’s obvious these guys have to be experienced live. The energy coming through the live album seemed immense.
