Confessions of a Fanboy

My brainholes are aching, my eyes like sandpaper. I’m one of the retards who went to a midnight showing of Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix. I went with my wife, my two sisters, brother, brother-in-law, and brother. I know… cute.

I slept in a bit and came to work late, but the Excedrin has neither relieved my headache nor given me a caffeinated kickstart. In other words, I’m a fucking zombie.

I am listening to my favorite of the three LOTR soundtracks under the guise of massaging my headparts. Great theory, less in practice. Not all soundtracks and “classical” or “instrumental” music is calming and mellow. Some of it can be quite intense, loud, and stirring. I’m going to have to devise a playlist of quiet for moments like this.

By the way… the movie is really good. It was almost worth feeling like this.
