Music of the Moment: Peter Karp - “Dirty Weather”

pkarp.jpgIt didn’t take long for me to come back to Peter Karp’s Shadows and Cracks. I dabbled with a little Def Leppard and Depeche Mode this morning, but I kept thinking about how I wanted to listen to this PK record. Why fight it, right?

Listening to this album has stirred an old, familiar feeling. I’ve got an overwhelming desire to not only continue listening to this record, I’m feeling the need to share the music with someone else. If you don’t go out and buy a copy of Shadows and Cracks, we’re not friends. OK, that may be putting it a little harsh. Let’s try this: you’ll thank me for sending you Peter Karp’s direction. Seriously. I’ll be getting a full review of the album up at BC Magazine very soon. You could wait until then to go out and buy this, but I wouldn’t let one more day of my life go by without ordering this record. Seriously.
