Music of the Moment: George Harrison
I don’t know what prompted it. I’m getting ready to go get some lunch and run by the apartment to see if my packages have been delivered. I’m skimming over some doucments at work, planning for the rest of the afternoon. I finished listening to Peter Karp and decided to dial up something different. I already listened to Ryan Adams. What next? For whatever reason, George Harrison.
I started out listening to a handful of songs from his self-titled album, beginning with “Blow Away.” I almost went to Brainwashed or All Things Must Pass next, but chose Cloud 9 instead. It still feels a little too ’80s to me, but “Devil’s Radio” and “When We Was Fab” are both good listens.
