As I was driving in to work this morning, I realized I had forgotten to reset my Let’s Talk About My iPod playlist on my iPod. I realized this right about the time I put Guster’s Lost and Gone Forever in my CD player to once again start my day with “What You Wish For.” It occurred to me that I could have the same musical day today that I had yesterday, I could listen to the exact same songs in the exact same order. Oddly enough, this appealed to me on some sort of weirdo level. I have 15,000+ songs on my iPod. Why would I want to listen to the same 50 or 60 of them? On the other hand… why not?

I decided against it and dare to embark on a different day.
