Nick Moss Flashes Electric and Acoustic On New Double Album, Complete Play It ‘Til Tomorrow Tracklisting

I was listening to some Nick Moss a few weeks back when word first surfaced about the October 9 release of his new double album Play It ‘Til Tomorrow. I can’t remember if I was listening to Sadie Mae or Live at Chan’s, but as I was listening I thought to myself, “I wonder if he ever does anything acoustic.”

You know what they say about great minds thinking alike, so I’m taking partial credit for this one. Play It’ ‘Til Tomorrow is divided into two sets; one electric and one acoustic.

This is so great for fans. The first disc – the electric disc – gives fans an album filled with what they’ve come to know and expect from Moss. The second disc gives fans something new and broadens his sonic palette. I doubt Moss was hedging his bets when he planned this album but on the off chance the experimentation doesn’t work, fans won’t have to hope he goes back to his roots when the next new album comes out some two years down the road.
