Mr. Bono, Dave Grohl Is Not Respecting Your Intellectual Property Rights
I bought the new Foo Fighters CD last night and as I was driving home with it, I was struck by something.
Echoes, Silence, Patience, & Grace might be the single most pretentious-sounding album title I’ve ever heard. Dave Grohl, a guy whose public persona suggests he has the IQ of Del Monte Fruit Cocktail, names his album Echoes, Silence, Patiences, & Grace? Has anyone told Mr. Bono about this?
U2 has a patent on cumbersome and/or pretentious titles. They have exclusive rights. Did Dave Grohil get permission from Mr. Bono? Hell, Echoes is so pretentious even Mr. Bono wouldn’t touch it.
As for the record itself, I’m about halfway through it.
