Music of the Moment: Peter Karp — “Strange Groove”

With all that “mandatory” listening, I couldn’t turn away when Peter Karp’s “Strange Groove” popped into my head. The rolling piano and clever word play demanded a listen. Even my iPod got into the act! The new 160GB iPod classic has some eye candy (iCandy for those of you in the Mac realm); a split screen in the menu section that will randomly scroll album cover art. The first album cover that popped up when I returned to my desk? Peter Karp’s Shadows and Cracks. I shit you not. If that wasn’t an endorsement from the ether, I don’t know what is. I had to listen to it.
