BNL Review Companion: Songs You Must Check Out
I don’t always know where my reviews are going to go when I write them. Sometimes I get into the nuts and bolts of an album and talk about the individual tracks in detail, other times I talk about the album at more of a global level. Sometimes I don’t get to include everything I’d like to include about an album because they don’t fit with the rest of the article. Here are a few nuggets I left out of my BC Review.
Talk to the Hand: Live in Michigan is BNL’s first “official” live album since their breakthrough Rock Spectacle. BNL, like Pearl Jam, make a lot of their live recordings available to diehard fans through their web site. Hand is the band’s first live DVD.
The highlights of the set are “Adrift,” “Be My Yoko Ono,” and “For You” from a music perspecitve, “Angry People” for the theater.
