Hey! Hey! You! You! Get Off Of My Cloud!
I feel… good!
I feel alive. Man, last night’s interview with Peter Karp on the B-Sides Concept Album program I host could not have possibly gone any better. I had trouble going to sleep after the high of a really enjoyable conversation with an artist whose work I respect and enjoy so much.
Not only was Peter a great and gracious guest, I really think the good folks who tuned in last night enjoyed the program. One listener went to immediately friend Peter on MySpace. Another declared he’s going to buy all the guy’s records. Yes, things went exceptionally well. You can check it out at the BTR site or you can download it from me; the choice is yours.
I’ve been bouncing off the walls all morning at work and I’ve had not a drop of caffeine. I believe this hyperactivity resulted in “Get Off Of My Cloud” popping into my head, so now I’m spazzing out in my cubicle typing this and listening to December’s Children (And Everyone’s). It’s a stupid album title, but “Get Off Of My Cloud” will get your heart racing and remind you that it’s great to be alive.
