Guster & Kanye West: One Night Only
Guster and Kanye West on the same bill… at Vanderbilt? If ever there was an unholy trifecta, that would be it. What the fuck happened to this world?
I was desperate to see Guster one last time on the Ganging Up on the Sun tour and the only city close enough to be realistic for me is Nashville. The show is tonight, I found out about it today, I don’t have any cash, and there’s the Kanye West factor. Fuck me! Now I just have to hope the band releases a proper live CD/DVD from the tour.
I’m sure they probably did this on purpose, what with all my Guster gushing. I haven’t done anything to warrant a restraining order, so they decided to tour with Kanye West. It worked. Damn yous! Damn yous all straight to hell! I have never been depressed before.
At least I got to see them once in Birmingham.
