Confessions of a Fanboy

I wonder if there is a law anywhere that says a person cannot simply listen to “The Apartment Song” without going back and listening to all of Full Moon Fever, beginning with “Free Fallin’” all the way through “Zombie Zoo.” If there isn’t, there should be.

Seriously, how can you listen to that and not want to hear the whole thing? I wish Tom would release a fully remastered version. The songs are so great and those that have been remastered for inclusion on various compilations sound so much better than the album tracks that haven’t.

The only downside to listening to this record at 8:30 on a Friday morning, if there is one, is that I’m now more ready for the weekend and less motivated to do anything approximating work than ever. This is one of the great weekend records ever.
