Let’s Talk About My iPod — September 19, 2007
It was my first day with my new 160 GB iPod (just for you, Brewster) and what a great day it was. I bought my iPod a present in the form of the new Eddie Vedder “solo album.” Vedder was tapped to do the soundtrack for Sean Penn’s new movie Into The Wild. I picked up a copy on sale and I will be telling you more about it in the coming days. I also listened to Daniel Lanois’ Belladonna to help him celebrate his birthday.

How you liking that Into the Wild soundtrack. The brother-in-law played it as background music to dinner the other night and I was digging it. There was lots of conversing and eating going on so I wasn’t able to give it my full attention (or even half attention) but as some background noise it was pretty good.
I like the soundtrack quite a lot. “Hard Sun” is a great song. I’ve listened to it three or four times this week, which is easy to do because the album is so short. I like it. It’s a collection of some really nice acoustic-based sketches. It’s worth the buy.
