Music Of the Moment: “Catch Hell Blues” - The White Stripes

That is one of my favorite song titles ever. If you haven’t bought Icky Thump, we’re not friends.
I’ve now listened to the first two shows of the Pearl Jam box (five discs in all). That second show is even more fabulous than the first. I’m eager to listen to the third show and might do that tonight if I’m not immersed in review material that’s been sent to me from some of my contacts. I’ve gotten some discs that look fabulously interesting and I’m eager to listen to them and report back to all of you.
In the meantime, I’m about to catch hell.

I’m really enjoying this album and this is a great song, although my song of the moment from this album would have to be “I’m Slowly Turning Into You.”
“I’m Slowly Turning…” is a good one, too, Sterfish. I’ve also been getting a kick out of “Effect & Cause.” There’s some great wordplay in that one. It’s a cool way to end the record.
