Music of the Moment: Pearl Jam - Live at Benaroya Hall
The last notes of “Yellow Ledbetter” have just played. I’ve finished the 7-CD box set, Live at the Gorge 05/06. It’s taken me nearly a week to plow through all that music. So what’s the first thing I queue up on the iPod now that I’ve finished it all?

I’m listening to the “Unplugged” show they released a couple years back, Live at Benaroya Hall. It’s not a purely acoustic show but it does showcase a different side of the band’s musical personality. The performances are every bit as passionate as a typical Pearl Jam show even this more relaxed atmosphere. The Benaroya show is also noteworthy because some rarely performed songs are included in the set list. I’m overdosing on Pearl Jam, and I’m pretty damn happy about it.
