I’ve now nearly finished the first show — it clocks in at just over three hours — and I’m exhilarated and exhausted by it. Pearl Jam still gets it done in terms of stamina and energy, and they continue to get better and tighter as a performing band. I already feel like I got my money’s worth just from this 3-CD opening salvo.

“Spin The Black Circle”!!! dang, i gotta get this.
You like that one, do you? I’ve got live versions of it elsewhere. It’s not my favorite song by them, lacking a little in the melody department. It’s got a good drive to it, but no hook. It does play well live, though, because of that drive.
yea, but it’s about vinyl!
And that helps, but it can’t save it. Think of all the bad songs about good sex…
