Bruce Springsteen “Across The Border/Santa Ana” in Atlanta, Day 3
113 days, 113 days. I still have 113 days to wait until I see Springsteen in Atlanta. I still have 113 of these campaign manifestos to write. What was I thinking?
I’ll tell you what I was thinking. I was thinking that 11 wants to hear Santa Ana. I was thinking that I want to hear Across The Border. I don’t know… maybe I haven’t made myself clear.
Speaking of making things clear… lest anyone mistake this for some sort of bizarre demand on my part, I’m not. This is a request… just like Chuck Berry in “Roll Over, Beethoven.” It’s a suggestion. It’s an idea. It’s a fantastic suggestion. It’s a brilliant idea.
Seriously, Bruce, if you’re reading (and why wouldn’t you be, for fuck’s sake?) “Across The Border” and “Santa Ana” in Atlanta!
