Countdown to The Countdown
I’ve just written up a draft of my Top 10 Albums of 2007. It was a difficult process, but a fun one because I got to reflect on just how many great albums were made this year. I’m stunned at a couple that didn’t make the list. I love The White Stripes record. I liked The Smashing Pumpkins record. I thought the new Babyshambles record was a testament to what Pete Doherty can do when he’s focused. My first Ronnie Earl purchase will not be my last. How is it Arctic Monkeys could make such a hyped, debut and actuall outdo it on their sophomore effort?
Those are five really good records and none of them made my Top 10. I’ll be unveiling the lucky winners tomorrow night on The B-Sides Concept Album program on Blog Talk Radio.
