Future to Past
Updates have been too sparse these last few days and I can say, honestly, the day job is a major culprit.
I’ve not had a day off since we returned to break from the Christmas/New Year’s holiday in 2008 and when I’ve been at work I haven’t had time to dash off even a quick update. I’m sorry about that. I like thinking there are a few of you out there who read this site and have come to expect me to have something to say on a regular basis. That just hasn’t happened. All that activity has also left me mentally fatigued and I haven’t been able to formulate any thoughts about what I’ve been listening to. I’m drained.
I don’t say this as a way of eliciting sympathy (not that I expect you were feeling sorry for me in the first place). There are people in this world with real problems. I’ve got everything I need and a lot of what I want. Life is good; it’s also just a little too busy for me at the moment. This soon will pass and life will get back to what I consider normal. That will be good for my mental well-being. It will also be good for the site.
I’ve got an exciting announcement I’ll be making in the next day or two. I’ll give you a hint: I’m listening to Wayward Shamans right now. You’ll understand soon enough.
Also on the exciting front: I’ll be seeing Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in less than 100 days. That’s going to sneak up on me and before I know it I’ll be in Atlanta.
