Springsteen Magic Tour 02/28/08 Hartford: Rarities Galore!
The Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Magic Tour kicked off the second leg of its US tour last night in Hartford, Connecticut.
The band’s first show of 2008 was filled with rarities! Several songs from the archive release Tracks, including set opener “So Young and In Love.” Other set list high points: “Janey Don’t You Lose Heart,” “Loose Ends,” “Backstreets,” and “Kitty’s Back.” Mark Saleski was in attendance and has posted a review of the show. The other big news of the night? Founding keyboardist Dan Federici! Sadly he was not on stage in Hartford, but Bruce did tell the crowd he’s doing well with the treatments for his diagnosed melanoma and should be rejoining the tour perhaps as early as this spring. Great news all the way around.
