Springsteen Magic Tour 03/16/08 St. Paul, MN: “Darkness On The Edge of Town” and “Prove it All Night”
Nice set list for Minnesota last night. Batting clean up, “Darkness on the Edge of Town.” I like that one. Most people think of the album, but the song is good, too. I like the solo acoustic version I have that was a B-side to one of his ’90s singles but I bet the full band sounded great.
“Prove it All Night” would be fun, too. I like the version from the NYC reunion set. It gives Bruce and Steve a chance to ham it up and that’s got to be good entertainment. The set is a little shorter than its predecessor in Omaha, but nothing wrong with this at all.

I can still remember the day I bought this LP in 1978. In my opinion Bruce’s strongest LP - dark, menacing and powerful. There isn’t one weak song on the LP. Personal favourites are: Bad Lands, Darkness on the Edge of Town. It is a pity I lost this LP.
