Hey! I like this! Stipe is singing at the same time Peter is playing big guitars!
Harmony and nice bass support from Mills.
The lyrics are a bit on the preachy again, but the music and the vocal performance are saving it/elevating it. You see! This is what a couple of those earlier tunes were lacking. They had big, loud guitars but they didn’t have a vocal melody of any note. This is really cool sounding. The production is still a bit too noisy but I can hear the music.
Oh, I like this one. This one goes near the top for me. If there was a real chorus, this would be the best thing on the record.

I still like this one but maybe not as much as I liked it yesterday. It doesn’t “feel” as special.
