The Lifting

And no, I’m not talking about the R.E.M. song from Reveal.
It’s been deader around here than… wait… let me think… it’s been deader around here than Velvet Revolver. What’s more surprising: that the band broke up or that the breakup has been about as mature as a teenage romance?
Anyway, things have been dry around here but I feel a weight lifting from shoulders and ability to commit words to page. I’ve written two reviews in two days and while the stack isn’t shrinking, neither is my desire to tackle it. I feel… strangely good. I think there’s more to come and I’m more excited than anyone to see what that something is.
