Springsteen Magic Tour 04/05/08 San Jose, CA: “Out in The Street,” “Bobby Jean,” “Fire” Debut

Three big debuts last night in San Jose. That’s incredible. I’m almost rendered speechless by the massive cool of this set. In addition to the three debuts, we also got “Trapped” and “Incident on 57th Street” by request. This sign thing is something else. I don’t think it will work because 11 and I will be too far back, but don’t think I’m not showing up with a sign that says “Across The Border.” I’ll put money on him showing up with a “Santa Ana in Atlanta” sign. Incredible.

  1. wow. opening with “Out In The Street”. just too cool.

think he’s gonna stick with the “surprise” opening slot for the rest of the shows? i hope so.

  2. I think it’s great the way he’s going about all of this. I think it’s cool that he’s embracing the “request” thing rather than fighting it. This is going to be great.

  3. No Badlands to close. I’m pretty sure thats a first too. That is one hell of a setlist though. One of the best I’ve seen…
