Springsteen Magic Tour 04/27/08 Charlotte, NC: “Wild Billy’s Circus Story” Debuts
Thank God I went to the Atlanta show rather than Charlotte. That’s not to say the Charlotte show wasn’t good. I wasn’t there to compare them both but based on setlists I’ll take Atlanta, hands down.
“Souls of the Departed” is a really good song and I’m sure it was great, but I’ll take “Reason to Believe” as an opener any day. Now, they did get “Reason” but we got “Out in the Streets.” Advantage: Atlanta. In the “Danny” spot, they got “Wild Billy’s Circus Story” and we got “Blinded By The Light.” Big advantage to Atlanta. I know, BruceFan loves “Wild Billy.” I think BruceFan loves it just to be difficult and annoying. Well fuck your Yankee blue jeans, BruceFan.
The encore is no competition. Here’s Charlotte’s strong, but not quite as cool, set list.

are you callin’ me BruceFan?!
of course i live Wild Billy’s but still…
by the way, what the hell is that “yankee blue jeans” thing? never heard that before.
I take too much piss out of “Wild Billy.” I don’t despise it but I don’t love it and the fact that BruceFan does just sets my teeth on edge. It’s not worthy of that kind of love. They’re doing it just to be a dick so I say to them, “Fuck your Yankee Blue Jeans.”
Yeah, Iguana, it was a great fuckin’ show.
