I can’t get Bruce to play once in Nashville, but Dublin gets three? Third time was the charm, too. This is clearly the best set list of the three Dublin shows that open the 2008 European leg of the Magic tour. “The Ties That Bind,” “Atlantic City,” “Sandy,” and “Racing in the Street” all got played. Sadly, “Mary’s Place” did too, but it gets balanced out by the presence of “Grownin’ Up” and the amazing “Reason to Believe” (which was played right after “Atlantic City.” I might have died).

The encore was about as high octane as it gets. Patience was rewarded for Bruce’s Dublin faithful.
