R.E.M.’s Dresden Show to Be Broadcast on Virgin Radio

If you’ve missed R.E.M.’s phenomenal Accelerate tour, you’ve got a chance to get a sample of what you’ve been missing when Virgin Radio airs the band’s recent gig in Dresden, Germany. The show will air Sunday, July 27th on Virgin Radio.

The Germany shows were good ones from a set list perspective, so this is pretty cool. It also suggests – to me – the band is recording several of these shows. They need to pull a Pearl Jam here and let these things be bought and downloaded! I wonder how long it will take for copies of this show to get up on eBay in the form of poorly reproduced CD-Rs.
