Confessions of a Fanboy

I just finished writing something for BC Magazine about the upcoming Roy Orbison box set, which caused me to set aside Pulp and Poe and sent me scurrying for my Traveling Wilburys CDs.  I don’t own any Orbison and I am going to hvae to do something about that!

There are a lot of great voices in rock and roll and there are a nice handful of unique voices and Orbison fits in both categories.  My God they just don’t make them like that anymore, do they?  His voice sometimes overpower me.  It can be almost too much to behold at once; it’s too perfect, too intense, too pure.
