Springsteen Magic Tour Set List 08/15/08 Jacksonville, FL: “Back In Your Arms” Debuts

Let’s look at this set list in a new way. Let’s look at it in light of the countdown we’ve been doing during the time Bruce & Co. have been off. There are three songs on this set list that I’ve already listed. I don’t want to give anything away as to whether or not there are songs on here that will be listed in the coming days, so we’ll leave it at that. There are three songs in this set list that have so far made my 20 Day Countdown: “Spirit In The Night,” “Kitty’s Back,” and “Loose Ends.”In addition, there are some good songs that I got to hear in Atlanta that wouldn’t be bad to hear again: “Out in The Street,” Rosalita,” “Born To Run,” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,” and that doesn’t count some good songs from Magic.

We also have the tour debut of “Back In Your Arms Again,” which isn’t a song that I’d request but is one I like. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to accept “Mary’s Place” is officially part of this show. I still don’t know why.

Patti wasn’t in Jacksonville, so nothing from Tunnel of Love got played. For better and worse, this is what was.
