I’m Takin’ Your Ass To The Promsied Land: Springsteen/Atlanta 04/25/08

Okay, so while he did play “The Promised Land,” this isn’t it. Some God-fearing soul captured the video tribute to Dan Federici (the video is set to the song “Blood Brothers”) and the opening song of the night: “Reason to Believe.” “Reason” is performed as a roadhouse blues number and is one of the moments that stands out most strongly from that night. Incredible.

When Bruce anthologizes and memorializes this tour at some point, there has to be a cut of this arrangement of “Reason to Believe.” This is fucking spectacular.
