Wow! An internet rumor that proves correct. Peter Buck has been reanimated. I wonder what kind of synthetic, unnatural fluid is now coursing through his veins.
It’s big. It’s loud. It doesn’t have much of a melody.
Stipe is spitting out lyrics at warp speed, but his delivery has little variation. This one reminds me of something from Document, but I can’t quite place it.
Hey, Mike Mills is in this band, too! That’s a nice touch, using him on backing vocals again.
The sound is a little too muddy and fuzzy for my taste… at least on first listen. Not a bad start.
