My Afternoon With Adam Duritz, Part 1
Everybody deserves an afternoon like I had today. I don’t know what I expected, but the entire experience was so much more and so much better than I ever could have dreamed.
There is a perception — no, a caricature, that persists about Adam Duritz. I don’t know what the right words for it are but a distorted picture of him exists. He’s portrayed to be somebody very different than the person I spent an hour-and-a-half listening to this afternoon. The time he took alone says something about his generosity, but that was only the beginning.
