Springsteen Magic Tour 04/08/2008 Anaheim, CA: Tom Morello Returns, So Does “Meeting Across The River”

I can’t say I like the set list for Anaheim #2 better than I like it for the first night, but there are some great and inspired song choices here. Best of all, Tom Morello came out and played “The Ghost of Tom Joad” again and our good friend El Bicho got to see it. Very cool. I wonder if we’ll have any guests in Atlanta.

Anyway, back to the show… they open with “Thunder Road.” Very nice, very cool idea. Bruce and the band seem to be enjoying “Murder Incorporated” as it has been a regular since its debut. “Because The Night” has apparently been turned into a Nils Lofgren showcase. I’m hoping that makes Atlanta because I like Nils and 11 loves that song.
