I don’t think we’ll have to worry about whether or not the AC/DC has spent the last eight years getting any new or big ideas. Just perusing the track list should comfort fans and detractors alike.
AC/DC will return with their first album in eight years when Columbia Records releases Black Ice on October 20 exclusively [...]

Best Buy is going to be the exclusive retailer for the official live souvenir of The Police’s (likely) final tour ever; one more nail in the coffin of consumer choice. This is one more step down the path of destruction as foretold in the Book of Revelations. Good. Let’s hit something hard and get it [...]

James Tayloris set to release an album of covers — cleverly named Covers — through Starbucks’ Hear Music label on September 30.

It hasn’t been the hottest summer for new music this year so I’m already anticipating a fall/winter overflowing with essential purchases. Oct. 7th just got more expensive. We’ve heard some of the hipsters take the piss out of Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails’ new distribution models. It reminds me of days spent schlepping videos to the masses, working my way through college. You want to know what caused more headaches than anything else on that job? Well, besides the customers? It wasn’t [...]

Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
It turns out Depeche Mode was right when they said “People are people.” It turns out that despite the reporting of some media outlets, America doesn’t have a monopoly on assholes after all.
Nick Moss & The Flip Tops were the victims of theft this past weekend while traveling through Canada [...]

I got an e-mail reminding me of something that happened while I was in South Carolina that I hadn’t yet written about here on the site. Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band are releasing a digital EP of tour highlights from the current run in support of the platinum-selling Magic.
