The streak is no more, long live the streak.
Well, the streak is probably no more. What streak? I wrote 5 reviews last week, several of which were written this past weekend. I’m 50-60% done with my review of the new Black Keys record, but I’ve hit a small wall (hint: I […]

Yep. I bought Living in the Material World at lunch today.
I’m listening to it a second time now, and I am pleased. I’d be more pleased if I were listening to it at home, following a day in which my work project was actually working.
Oh, well. I like the CD.

There were no tour debuts tonight in Stockholm in terms of new songs, but there was a special cameo tonight. Christopher Clemons, son of E-Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons, played acoustic guitar on “Dancing in the Dark.”
There are five shows left on this first European trek. After the London show next Wednesday, […]

The 50th Annual Grammy Award nominations were announced this morning and I’m not even disappointed by the level of suckitude therein.
As expected, Kanye West and the troubled Amy Winehouse cleaned up. Springsteen got hosed, and someone likes the Foo Fighters new record a lot more than I do.
I’m going to do a more detailed […]
