New Official Betting Partnerships

In a recent announcement, the PGA TOUR and FanDuel announced a new three-year agreement for the delivery of odds-based content to fans of the golf tour. The partnership allows FanDuel to use TOUR trademarks and distribute highlights to FanDuel bettors. The two companies will continue to work together to provide fans with a unique sports betting experience. The announcement comes after many major sporting events have become the subject of social media rants by angry bettors.

Last year, the NBA and the NFL signed deals with MGM to become their official betting partners. And five NFL teams signed marketing deals with casinos. Recently, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones invested in DraftKings, which added traditional betting to its offerings. Now, these partnerships are expected to grow. And it will not be long before we start seeing more leagues and sportsbooks collaborating on official betting. And in the meantime, more fans are betting more.

In New York, residents can now place a wager on their favorite team. It’s available to residents of the Empire State, and is backed by multiple online sports betting sites. FanDuel, BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, and PointsBet are all New York-based sportsbooks. In addition, many of the sports betting sites offer self-exclusion from gambling. You can even set daily or weekly limits on how much you bet or how long you spend on the site.
